The short version: we earn money when readers sign up with some of the gambling operators we write about. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not determine our ratings. The longer version is below, because you deserve to know exactly how a site that reviews casinos pays its bills.

How we make money

gamblingonlinebetting.com is free to read. We fund it in four ways:

• Affiliate commission. If you click a link to an operator and go on to register or deposit, that operator may pay us a commission — sometimes a one-off fee, sometimes a share of the revenue they earn from that account over time.
• Sponsored content. Brands pay us to publish articles about their products. These are labelled as sponsored or contributed.
• Advertising. Display banners sold through our advertising page.
• Paid guest posts. Third parties pay to publish articles here. See our guest posting page.

This is the standard model for gambling comparison sites. Almost every casino review site you will read uses it, whether or not they say so on a page like this one.

What this means for you

• You never pay more. Commission comes out of the operator’s marketing budget, not your pocket. Bonuses and terms are identical whether you use our link or type the address yourself.
• You are not obliged to use our links. If you would rather not, navigate to the operator directly. The content stays free either way.
• We have a commercial interest, and you should factor that in. No disclosure removes a conflict of interest; it just makes it visible so you can weigh what you read accordingly.

Every commercial outbound link on this site carries the sponsored nofollow attribute. That is required by Google’s policy on paid links, and we apply it without exception — including on guest posts, where authors sometimes ask us not to. We do not sell unqualified do-follow links at any price.

How our ratings actually work

This is the part that matters, so here is our commitment in plain terms. Commission rates do not influence scores or rankings. We score every operator against the same criteria — bonus value and fairness of terms, game range, payment methods and payout speed, customer support, mobile experience, and licensing and player protection. Practical consequences of that, which we hold ourselves to:

• An operator paying us more does not move up the list
• We publish criticism of operators we earn from, including in reviews that carry our affiliate links
• We review and rank operators we have no commercial relationship with at all
• Where a paid review would score badly, we tell the operator before publishing and let them withdraw — we do not publish an inflated score instead
• We drop operators who mistreat players, regardless of what they pay

You should hold us to this. If you see a review that reads like it was bought, tell us and say why. That feedback is genuinely useful.

Which operators we will promote

We only carry affiliate links for operators that hold a recognised gambling licence. We will not link to an operator that:

• Operates without a licence from a recognised regulator
• Has a pattern of unresolved complaints about withheld player funds
• Markets to under-18s
• Uses predatory bonus terms designed to make withdrawal effectively impossible
• Refuses to honour self-exclusion requests

If an operator we already promote starts behaving this way, we remove the links. That has cost us revenue before and will again.

Do your own checks anyway

Even with all of the above, treat our reviews as one source rather than the final word. Before depositing anywhere:

• Verify the licence number on the regulator’s own website, not just the operator’s footer
• Read the bonus terms in full, particularly wagering requirements, maximum win caps and game weighting
• Check withdrawal limits and processing times
• Confirm the operator legally accepts players from your country
• Look for recent independent player reports, not just review sites

Legal basis for this disclosure

This page exists to comply with the US Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides, the UK Advertising Standards Authority’s CAP Code and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations, and equivalent rules elsewhere requiring material connections between a publisher and an advertiser to be disclosed clearly. It is also simply the right way to run a site like this.
